PROGRAMS
HIGH SCHOOL ROWING LEAGUE
GVYRS delivers a high school rowing league in partnership with the Lower Vancouver Island School Sports Association. Students from School Districts 61 and 63 form teams with their respective schools and hit the water for three weekly training sessions and two regattas. Athletes of all ages and experience levels are welcome to join.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ROWING LEAGUE
Our Middle School Rowing League offers middle-school-aged students an opportunity to train and compete with their schoolmates. Athletes participate in our one-of-a-kind peer teaching program, in which experienced high school rowers teach and mentor the group alongside decorated guest speakers and coaches.
HIGH SCHOOL PLUS
Experienced athletes in Grades 11 and 12 can row an additional two sessions per week through High School Plus: A program offered by our partners, Victoria City Rowing Club and Gorge Narrows Rowing Club. High School Plus is an excellent choice for athletes hoping to supplement their training sessions with some extra time on the water.

NO SCHOOL PROGRAM
Athletes without a school to row with can still participate in the fall rowing season: Either directly with the Middle School Rowing League (middle-school-aged youth) or with our partners Victoria City Rowing Club and Gorge Narrows Rowing Club as an independent participant (high-school-aged youth).
